Founder's Manifesto: Sparking a Robotics Revolution

"Science must be an act of creation, not a test of memory. For too long, the brilliant minds of Bangladesh have been confined by an education system that rewards rote memorization and the mere replication of existing internet projects. I founded Virtual Science Club Bangladesh (VSC.BD) to permanently shatter this cycle and introduce a nationwide culture of pure, logical engineering. My vision is to establish a centralized platform that reaches all 64 districts, completely eliminating the financial and logistical barriers that hold our students back. By providing direct access to essential hardware, real funding, and expert mentorship, we empower young innovators to design genuine, autonomous systems that solve real-world problems. We are not just preparing students for traditional science fairs; we are sparking a robotics revolution. Ultimately, VSC.BD exists to transform today's passive learners into tomorrow's technological pioneers, giving them the power to engineer the future of Bangladesh."

THE JOURNEY

2018.08

THE ILLUSION OF INNOVATION

Participating in regional science fairs as a 7th grader, I witnessed a harsh reality: true innovation was missing. Instead of independent logical thinking, students were presenting projects copied directly from YouTube or built with outside help—a practice entirely unsuited for the modern technological era.

2020.09

IDENTIFYING THE ROOT FLAW

By the 8th grade, I attempted to build my own original project and immediately hit massive systemic roadblocks. I discovered the core issues: the short notice left no time to develop an idea, local components were unavailable, and the necessary hardware was far too expensive for an average student to self-fund.

THE MASTERPLAN & MASSIVE OUTREACH

In my 10th grade, I designed a comprehensive framework to solve these exact problems. Right after my public exams, the real groundwork began. Throughout 2022, I relentlessly pushed this vision forward—conducting 13 major seminars and holding over 30 strategic meetings with District (DC) and Upazila (UNO) administrators. Additionally, I organized countless independent seminars across various schools to inspire students directly and secure crucial governmental and institutional support.

THE MOVEMENT BEGINS

Virtual Science Club Bangladesh officially launched. We started our operations in a single Upazila, integrating 7 high schools and 2 colleges. The initiative quickly resonated, reaching over 9,000 students and successfully inducting 1,300 permanent members into our innovation ecosystem.
